The National Testing Agency (NTA) ने UGC NET December 2025 के लिए आधिकारिक अधिसूचना जारी की है, जिसमें पात्र उम्मीदवारों को इस राष्ट्रीय स्तर की परीक्षा के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन करने के लिए आमंत्रित किया गया है, जो भारतीय विश्वविद्यालयों और कॉलेजों में सहायक प्रोफेसर, जूनियर रिसर्च फेलोशिप (JRF), और PhD प्रवेश के लिए पात्रता निर्धारित करता है। ऑनलाइन आवेदन विंडो 7 अक्टूबर 2025 को खुलेगी और 7 नवंबर 2025 तक (11:50 PM IST तक) सक्रिय रहेगी। उम्मीदवारों को पंजीकरण पूरा करना होगा, व्यक्तिगत और शैक्षणिक विवरण भरना होगा, आवश्यक दस्तावेज अपलोड करने होंगे (फोटो, हस्ताक्षर, श्रेणी प्रमाण पत्र, आदि), और अंतिम तिथि तक लागू शुल्क का भुगतान करना होगा; ऐसा करने में विफलता या अपूर्ण आवेदन स्वीकार नहीं किए जाएंगे। मुख्य विंडो के बाद, 10 नवंबर से 12 नवंबर 2025 तक एक छोटी सुधार अवधि निर्धारित की गई है।

Selection Process 2025 :-
- Computer-Based Test (CBT):
- The exam is conducted online in two papers (Paper I & Paper II) on the same day without any break.
- Paper I (General Paper):
- 50 Questions (100 Marks)
- Tests teaching/research aptitude, reasoning, comprehension, and general awareness.
- Paper II (Subject-Specific Paper):
- 100 Questions (200 Marks)
- Based on the candidate’s chosen subject (as per post-graduation).
- No Negative Marking:
- Each question carries 2 marks, and there is no penalty for wrong answers.
- Result & Cut-off Preparation:
- NTA prepares subject-wise and category-wise cut-offs based on the marks scored by candidates in both papers.
- Final Merit List:
- A combined merit list is prepared for –
- JRF (Junior Research Fellowship)
- Assistant Professor Eligibility
- Certificate Issuance:
- Qualified candidates receive an e-certificate from UGC, which can be downloaded from the NTA or UGC NET official website.
- Validity:
- JRF Certificate: Valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
- Assistant Professor Eligibility: Valid for a lifetime.
